Excellence Awards from MHSAA
The MHSAA has announced winners of the 2017-18 Excellence Awards for the Student Broadcast Program. The awards recognize excellence in the production of high school sporting events by member schools. Negaunee High School was one of three schools to be recognized this year.
Miner Broadcasting received a 2nd place award in the Best Highlight Category for their production of Miners Gymnastics vs. Superior Seven. The production team included Alec Johnson, Thomas Bagley, and Chaz Bluse.
The production team of Colton Yesney, Carter Richardson, and Peyton Anderson received a 2nd place award for Best Single Camera Production for their broadcast of Miners Volleyball vs. Gwinn.
Overall, Miner Broadcasting produced over 50 Live and On Demand events throughout the 2017-18 school year. Congratulations on another successful year.

Miners Broadcasting Students Win Video Competition.
The students in the Digital Writing class at NHS recently participated in a video contest sponsored by the Marquette County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition. Students were tasked with producing a Public Service Announcement incorporating the "I Will" theme. Six teams from the class entered videos and they received 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the contest. The first place team consisted of Keegan McGonigle and Davis Bagley. The second place team included Thomas Bagley, Alec Johnson, Chaz Bluse, and Mason Mitchell. The third place team was Travis Nelson, Colton Yesney, Robby Williams, and Alex Zampese. Congratulations to all the teams on producing great work.
